A Beach Mantle

If you stopped by here yesterday you got to see my Nautical Bottle. It was the beginning of the beach look in the living room. I started with a blank surface.

I have beige walls. This comes in handy when changing the colors around in the room.

This was the inspiration piece.

I gathered things from other rooms to add to the new vignette.Looking mainly for blue and oceany things.

Remember the shell bowl from a few posts back made from a light globe and dish?

I like the white branches here. It reminds me of coral.

And this guy ended up on the wardrobe instead of the mantle. I didn't want to put too much there.
Color needs to be scattered around a room.

Can you see the scallop shells carvings on the bench?
The sun was not cooperating!

I hate that the pictures are so dark but I hope you can see the transformation.

Thanks for stopping by! I am going crazy right now getting my project ready for round 2 of American Crafter, Voting begins again on Friday 4 MST!
