Our New Baby!

It's A Boy!

We have a new baby around here. On Saturday we adopted!

He is four months old and adorable.

He is a black lab mix.

We are firm believers in adopting since there are so many animals in shelters. Our other dog was adopted twelve years ago. She is the best dog we ever had. Growing up we rescued one, adopted one, and took one in that a family didn't want. They were all the best pets. All gentle and loving. We are hoping this little guy is the same.

We are still trying to decide on a name. It is my daughter's dog and since she is a theatre girl she wants something that suites her, either from theatre or something literary. She thought of Romeo from Shakespeare and Mr. Darcy or Bingley from Pride and Prejudice.  Can't decide!

We would appreciate any suggestions!

Look at that face! We are in love!

He is so sweet looking! I had a black lab named Roscoe. I think Romeo is a perfect name. Enjoy him :)

What a beautiful puppy! I like all of the names you picked out, but I think I like Mr. Darcy. I like any animal name with a Mr. in front of it. Sounds so distinguished ;)

Awwww,....how totally adorable is that little baby. Makes me want to get my face in there for some puppy kisses, lol. How about Will? (as in William Shakespeare)

Now THAT is all kinds of irresistible cute!! LOVE those puppy eyes!! I'm liking Bingley - and liked the suggestion of Keats too - or Barlow or Winslow..or Boo (as in Boo Radley)....or Scout...or Harper (as in Harper Lee....Gee....think I like To Kill A Mockingbird??) Arghhh ....now you'll have me running hundreds of names through my head!! :o Smiles & Puppy Hugs ~ Robin
