Vintage Witch's Hat

I wanted to do a project yesterday that was a little different. I had some cones that I purchased from Hobby Lobby a month ago sitting around waiting for me to come up with a brilliant idea! cough cough

Since my yard sale find this weekend of sheet music I knew it had to be part of my Halloween craft.

I Mod Podged the music on the cone after distressing it with ink and coffee! My favorite part was ruffling sewing patterns! That's right patterns....look real close!

I love the way it came out.

Add some creepiness like a plastic spider....eek! True Halloween spirit!

Some fluffy black feathers and there you have it! There really are a lot of possibilities for this. Adding colored netting would be cute too! I just wanted it to look like an old piece.

Place it near a vintage cat and it all fits!

Love all these cute Halloween projects!

Deneen I love this. I really like using pattern tissue paper for crafts its so pretty. I made a vignette that I'll be sharing later using a cone to make a witches hat. You always have the greatest ideas and so versatile.
