Lady Baltimore Fall Arrangement

Halloween is fast approaching and they are calling for rain!

Poor little trick or treaters!

I was hoping to greet them with this sweet arrangement.

One thing I love about this time of year are all the pretty fall colors. Whether it is Halloween or not, pumpkins can be used through Thanksgiving!

That is why I decided to make the Owl Succulent Pumpkin.

I wanted to use my Lady Baltimore Luggage!

Are you confused? Read on....

This Lady is a beauty!

Gotta love rusty junk!

I actually picked this out of an old barn. I was so hoping to keep it in my home but it was damaged by water.

sigh...

I couldn't throw it out.

Then the thought occurred to me to transform it into a Fall arrangement.

I went to Home Depot and picked out the colors of the flowers I wanted and began to fill it.

I stuffed the pockets with trailing petunias and lined the front with beautiful pansies.

The mums were the centerpiece!

I guess after making the moss covered purse I am looking at all things differently when it comes to planters.

So glad I could use more succulents too!

and this little guy got a home!

A pretty piece greeting you at the door!

Happy Owlween!

What a great idea! I must remember to do this with my old suitcase. They are announcing rain mixed with snow for Halloween....nothing new as this is the norm for Halloween. Unfortunately the suitcase will have to wait till next summer to be filled with beautiful flowers such as yours. Thanks for the great idea! Must pin it so as not to forget.

Perfect use- especially if it had water damage already. Love the little succulent eyed owl!

I got a blue vintage suitcase for free last Saturday!! but it's in good condition. Great idea instead of throwing yours out!
