Yellow French Hutch

Well it has been a crazy January.
I am sure everyone is getting back to a routine after Christmas.

I have missed all of you.

It is not like I don't have anything to show and tell you about.
There is so much that I am behind. I still haven't finished writing about my Italy trip!

I wanted to come up with my "word" of the year too. sigh.... I guess I am behind!

What I will be able to show you right now is my new hutch for spring!

You know I have a thing for hutches.

Red, Grey, Black but this is my first golden yellow.
Arles to be exact!

I started with a white original background.

It was nice like this but looked dated. I decided to paint multiple layers of Country Grey and Arles with hints of Old White. I knocked out the side panels for the chicken wire.

WARNING: Chicken wire kills be careful!!

Still all scratched up!

But.... no pain, no gain!

I love the look. I used a white wash. No distressing or dark wax on this beauty.

She brightens up the whole store.

If you are in town come by and see her.
Of course she is for sale at
Dreamingincolor....the store!

540 N Maney Ave, Murfreesboro, TN 37130

Do you like the new color?

So glad to be back!
Hope you stay connected!!

I'll be thinking of a word too....
