French Provincial 6 Drawer Dresser

Love french furniture and applying different painting techniques.
That is what I am known for at my store.
Something I always tried to do also on my blog.

Like when I painted my blue and white dresser!

But now I had a pretty french provincial dresser to makeover.

I always love the lines of french furniture. This piece is from the 50's.

The handles are exquisite. I paint and highlight them in white. There is something about white paint. Using it to "rough" up my furniture always give it a great distressed look. It doesn't always have to be about dark wax and sandpaper.

This was the before. Old and worn! That is why I love paint. It beautifies and renews an old tired piece.

When the bones are good, that is all you need for something special to happen!
