Painted Furniture in NYC

I recently went to NYC again. One of my favorite places to go.
This was really an impromptu trip. My daughter was accepted to an acting school there and I was there to show her how to get around the big city. Funny, she was the one showing me though!
We had a blast and got to to lots of things. Wish I could have shopped more but I did get to visit a shop in Greenwich Village.
Unfortunately, I don't remember the name. The tag said Reclaim, Recycle.
How bad could that be?
That is what I do so I was curious to see.
Painted furniture in NYC is a lot more expensive than here but I enjoyed all the eye candy.

I loved the patina on the furniture. Most had tons of distressing.

There were also tons with layering. That is right up my alley!

Every corner had something interesting.

Even the unpainted furniture was great. I loved this trunk like dresser. The leather pulls are to die for.

This entertainment center was a favorite. I loved the idea of the rolling barn type doors to hide the TV. This is something I would like to incorporate in my living room to hide our huge TV.

And who can resist these beautiful bottle lights? I want these!!! I also love the crate wall behind them.

I think you can say I am in love with patinas. I can stare at them all day. I love the chippiness of this mirror on an old door. Lots of inspiration.

This is what fuels my creating. I love stores like these and can stay all day in them.

Did you enjoy the peek inside?

Painted furniture in NYC is as exciting as anywhere else to me but add the NYC pizza and Times Square lights and it is better than any place out there to me!

I too love yummy patina and the pieces you have shown are definitely swoon worthy.

Glad you had fun.
