It is Spring Break here this week and everyone is home enjoying each other. It has been hard getting things done but we had a productive day yesterday.
I finished my oil painting....I think. Oils have a way of sitting to dry and then after looking at them awhile you want to change it up. I am my own worst critic!
My friend Barbara had a picture of the beautiful bowl from her shop. I just had to paint it!

It is still sitting on the easel. I didn't even sign it yet! I also painted on the old wardrobe closet. Today I will distress it! Hopefully I will have pictures soon of it finished!
My niece came over and she painted with me! She has never painted before and I think she did a good job.
This is her finished product! I can't wait to see what else she does. She is a budding artist!

I work with acrylics because I am an impatient beast! Plus the hair from my six kitties doesn't stick to it as easily! LOL!
