Fall Wreath

This year I repainted my front door with a color I have been wanting for a while ... RED! I just love it! So yes I needed a new wreath to adorn the front of it!

I started with a spindly wreath but quickly built it up with lots of layers.

I had different shaped leaves with wire that I poked through the wreath alternating color.

I glued some silk ones to the front and made fabric flowers. I bought some fabric from Goodwill that I thought would be a great texture to the flowers. I really liked the fringe/loose threads it created.

I had an owl pick that I stuck through the center

And there you have it! For around $5 I created a simple wreath for the front door.
Now I can sit back and admire MY RED!

Aren't you glad I gave you a break from pumpkins?
Don't worry I have more! lol

Or you can stop over at
The Answer is Chocolate! They are featuring my blog and all my Fall projects! I feel so special!

Thank You!
