Winter

This winter has been one to remember. The country is covered with ice and snow. I just talked to my friend in New Jersey that said her the snow is level with her picnic table and when standing in her driveway she cannot see the neighbors house from all the snow.

I feel we have been lucky here in Tennessee but I am ready for springtime. We have had a glimpse of nice weather only as a tease.

When you are stuck indoors it gets you motivated to all sorts of things. I have been painting up a storm and loving it. My easel sits near a window with light streaming in.

In dreaming of tulips and purple blooms on red bud trees, I started painting Winter's End.
