Red Really is Better!

It is not a surprise that I like red. If you have read my posts and looked at my pictures you would see red in my home.


My first red piece was a hutch that I fell in love with after it was painted. Then I painted a wardrobe. I even painted a bird red for my entryway.


Then I found an antique chair that I upholstered in a red printed coffee sack. Do you remember? It was going to the store.

 
  One of the questions asked is if I should paint it

Duh!

Why did I have to ask?

I always wonder if I should change the integrity of the piece. 

I finally got around to it and I think it was just what it needed!

 

With minor distressing it changed the whole look into something that just popped!

I can't wait to put it in the store!

    Totally the thing to do with this chair. What type of paint and what is the name of the shade?? It's lovely.
