I also had a baby shower to go to. Funny, you start feeling old when your friends babies start having babies. It has been awhile since I have been to a baby shower. I like making things to give to people even if it is something small. I have made Onesie Cupcakes which are adorable. They are also a popular post! They make such a sweet presentation. I have also Hand Painted Canvas with the child's name.
This mom needed a bath tub and I filled it with bath supplies, hooded towel, lotion, shampoo, a book for bedtime and more. I wrapped the tub in clear wrap and made it into a filled basket. Something was missing on the front of it. I remembered an "old" idea. A Bunny Washcloth! This would be perfect with the tub! It has been a long time since I made these but they are so cute!!
Here is a step-by-step tutorial on How to Make a Bunny Washcloth
You will need:
a washcloth
small rubber bands
double-sided tape
hole punch
paper
Start with your new washcloth opened in a square
I used white but you can use any color. Start rolling the corner.
Roll it half way and then roll the other side to meet in the middle.
Then fold rolls in half so that each corner meets
Turn and fold corners in half again bringing open end to rolled back
Now you will take a small rubber band and make a head by placing the rubber band around the fold opposite of open corners
I like using these. You can get a bunch at any dollar store
You will start to see a bunny forming
Take a small piece of double-sided tape and place it across the head
Get your hole punch and punch out of colored paper two eyes and stick to tape
You should have a cute fluffy bunny. It can hold powder, candles anything you wish.
I used mine to tie on the front of the package. Adding something homemade always makes your package stand out!
Thanks for visiting!

Oh, how cute is that, I have got to book mark this! You could get a job on a cruise ship, you know how they always do some towel animal in your room?

Very cute! Just so happens we are planning a baby shower. The napkins would be adorable like this too.
I love those bunnies. I haven't been to a baby shower in so long, I forgot all about them! I used to make handmade hooded towels and washcloths for my friends babies. Hopefully I won't have any grandbabies for several years!
If you have an old button get rid of it and get a new one. My URL is has changed and the buttons were updated. The link you have under the button is not linked. Hover the cursor over it and you will see. So either fix that or the button and you should be able to link up.
Ah so sweet Deneen!! What a great little gift for a kiddo!! Thanks for sharing!!
Tee hee, I'm going to a water park next week so I will have to make these with the towels for the kids:) Have a great week!
