Butterfly Plate and Finished Dresser

Please don't forget to go to the Giveaway page to enter for the Home Depot Gift Card!

First of all I am thrilled to have made it to 100 followers! Yay me! Thank you all so much! I really appreciate you and all your sweet comments!

Dresser is finished!

I got my knobs finally from Hobby Lobby yesterday to complete the painted dresser.

Looks so much better now!

I have been painting like crazy and started outside painting the columns on the pavillion. But of course like anything you start it sometimes winds up being more than you ask for. I have to paint the dental work on it now so no pictures till I am done.

I did complete another Mod Podged plate that I absolutely love! I have a plate rack in the sun room and I think it will look nice there but it has a holder for two so I will have to make another one. Maybe dragonflies next time. This is starting to be my favorite project! All done on a Dollar Tree plate!

I placed it in the kitchen for now! It is so cute! I used some scrapbooking paper I already owned. This plate cost $1!!!!

I wanted to give you a sneak preview of a new project I am working on. It is a wardrobe cabinet.

It is laying on its side but I will be painting it soon. I am leaning towards the red again. Mainly because I have the extra paint and I found some darling knobs for it. I can't wait to see the finished product. I will be sharing it with you...... so stay tuned!

Bunny Topiary

Remember this?

These were the little urns I got from Old Time Pottery for .69 cents.

Today I was shopping in Pier I and found these adorable little bunny picks for 2 something.
So I gathered together some floral foam, moss and some old eggs from another arrangement I had.

I cut the floral foam to fit the urn.

Added the Spanish moss to look like a nest to the top of the foam. I pushed in the bunny pick and the eggs and in minutes got the cutest topiary.

A great addition to the Easter tablescape.

This was around $4 to make! Of course I made two!

Recipe Card Holder

I usually don't go for things like this but I have to say it is very useful to me. I saw something like it in blogland and I thought it would help me in the kitchen.

I went to Home Depot and purchased a square of molding and a finial. Sorry for the pictures it was late at night.

I drilled a hole in the molding to attach and screw the finial to.

I sanded the tip of the finial to flatten at an angle. I drilled a clothespin to the top. I painted it brown to go in my kitchen. You can use any color you wish for this project. I found some scrapbook paper and cut to fit some of the areas. Then I Mod Podged it! I love having the recipes upright so I can just look over at it. Best of all it doesn't take up any space on the counter.

You just clip the recipe to the clothespin!

It is the first day of spring! I had three bunnies dancing in the back yard today to celebrate! Everything is blooming, the birds are singing and the sun is out! Life is good!

I took a couple of pictures to celebrate. Enjoy! Oh and the banner above was $1 at the Dollar Store! The little tags came in a pack 8 and it has a linen texture. I wrote the word I wanted cut a piece of string and there it is!

I've been Featured Part 4

I will be featured for my ZGallerie Mirror today at Knock-Off Decor at 8pm! I am thrilled and hope I get more followers! Yay! Thanks for noticing me!

Baby Shower Gift

When I was pregnant with both my children, I did not want to know the sex of the child. I wanted to be surprised! That was my preference. A lot of my friends found out and I have to say they were well prepared. The got everything for a girl or boy if they knew.
So I guess there is something to knowing what you are going to have. And being that prepared!
I still prefer not knowing though.

Some people even have the name picked out! Boy they are good! Even though I had the names for either a boy or a girl, I couldn't get anything personalized till they were born.

I painted this sweet painting for a precious baby that is not born yet! I love her name!
Elena Celeste. She will now have a hand painted canvas with her name on it that will go with the colors of her room. A gift that is personalized just for her. How Lucky!

You can get one too! Comment or email me to order! These can be for a baby shower, birthday or any occasion! A gift that is hand painted and original! A 12x4 gallery wrapped canvas painted on all sides and signed $38.

touching up!

Finished product! Can be placed on a shelf or hung on the wall! It can be shipped to you wrapped for any occasion! Order below by commenting or email.

I am being featured today at Mod Podge Rocks facebook page!
