Living Room Reveal For Fall

I am so excited to be showing you my living room finally.

It all started with my tufted Sofa. Then I created the Inexpensive way to decorate a blank wall.

I went into this redesign wanting to break a few rules.

I think decorating should be what you want and love and not what someone tells you it HAS to be.

So I played around with placement, vintage and modern decor and a little bit of freebies I had laying inside and outside my home!

I had a few problems like light, a huge tv and an animal that kept photobombing!!

An Inexpensive Way to Decorate a Blank Wall

Hi Everyone! Glad the week is over and the weekend is soon approaching. If you all have been to my blog you know I have been changing things up in my living room.

Today I will show you how I created an inexpensive way to decorate a blank wall.

I paint a lot of furniture and sometimes I keep it and sometimes I sell it. Sometimes I get rid of too much!
I am always moving things around.
My husband never knows what he will find when he wakes up....he is used to it now. He always has a different place to sit Now the dog is starting to get acclimated to it too!

I can't wait to show you my madness!

How to turn a Birdcage into a Chandelier

Blogging helps me with my compulsion of changing things up all the time. Since deciding to redo my living room, I have taken on too many projects. It slows a girl down!
This is something I can mark off my list like my new tufted sofa and Milk painted coffee table!

Do you remember this white birdcage on my French Provincial buffet?

I sold the buffet but kept the birdcage. I had plans for it!

Some Accessories for Living Room Redo

It is Friday!!!! I am yard saling today in the neighborhood. It is the bi-annual sale and I will be looking for fun things to add to my spaces I am working on.

As you know I am working on my Sister's living room. We have come up with the colors for the space.
Grey, Yellow and Turquoise. I shopped her house for things I could use in the space first, like the painting I did for her a few Christmas' ago.

The yellow in this oil will go perfectly in the room! I love using original art in a room. Especially my own!!!!!! hee hee

Living Room Design (A Redo)

How do you design a living room when someone is getting ready to move?

That is my next space. It is my sister's living room. I told you awhile back that we both got the same tufted sofa.

Well she needed it let me tell ya. She had a black leather couch that Goodwill would have turned away.  (but they didn't go figure)

When she was a single mom she didn't invest her money in decorating or buying new things. It all went for bills and the kids. We know how that is, right?

Well now that she is married, she is looking to revamp this space. BUT...and this is a big but,
She is not staying in this house long.

Tufted Sofa

Hi Everyone! Before I get started, I want to thank you all for your support! I exceeded my followers through Hometalk to qualify for the trip to Lucketts this weekend because of you. I was blown away! Unfortunately, I did not win.

With that said, I am pleased to say the my Antique Blue, Grey and White Dresser painted with Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan is being featured tomorrow at Annie Sloan Unfolded Facebook Page. I love this paint so much it is an honor to be there!

If you follow me on Facebook you know I got a sofa for my living room. It is from the Martha Stewart Collection at Macy's. It was delivered before I left for SNAP. I am just now getting around to posting about it.

I had been searching for a sofa like this for awhile. Then one day my sister tells me she found a sofa she wanted for her living room. Turns out to be the same one I had been looking at! We do this a lot!
She bought hers is a light grey and my color is called Vintage! It is a darker grey but it had to be custom ordered. I am loving it!

I will be redoing my living room and building around this beauty!

At the same time I am doing mine I will also be designing my sisters.

I started on hers yesterday. Turquoise and yellow will be her colors. Can't wait to share my design with you

She also got the chair that goes with this set. So stay tuned it for a living room redo!

As always thanks so much for reading and supporting my blog!
