Curio Cabinet

Been so busy at the store I haven't been able to get a post out but when this piece came along I thought you might be interested in the transformation.

I repurpose furniture for a living.

Why then do I still get so surprised at the after?

This curio cabinet came to me as someone's craft project gone bad. I know that is relative but it was bad in my book.

It was spray painted blue. A pretty blue but still not done well...drips and things in the paint.....

The bad part was the vintage recipes glued to the back.

I would have loved that, but they added magazines and colored paper and it was just a design mess!!

Honestly the before picture doesn't look as bad as it really was.

I added a little knob, paint and beautiful fabric to update the look.

Isn't it pretty?

I opened a store in 3 weeks! Unbelievable!

Never thought this could happen so fast. So many wonderful things going on. Getting that first person to walk in the door and buy something was so exciting! I hope it keeps getting better! Please pray for me!

Pumpkin Caramel Cake

I am so thankful for all of my friends and family. Lots of people are using November to count their blessings and say what they are thankful for.

I do this everyday. I may not post here or on Facebook but I truly am thankful for so much that God has done for me.

Thanksgiving is approaching and all the family will gather together.

Since opening the store, my time has been limited so my sweet sis is taking over Thanksgiving this year for me.

My mom baked this Pumpkin Caramel Cake and it is delicious. Only 4 ingredients!!

I just added the Mason Jar!!lol

It has been so surreal to be getting my own store ready for Christmas.

We are close to opening!!

I keep adding to the outside decorations but the first picture I took became my postcard for my Open House.

Dreamingincolor {A Dream Begins the Story you Live}

I few years ago my last child went of to college.

I decided to start a blog then.

Weird because I had no clue had to do it.

I just did it!

Oh yes! I was scared to death. Scared to fail but I didn't let that stop me.

The blog has kept me creating ever since which is my love and passion.

I wrote a post about My Craft Room explaining my dream. My art and furniture became Micucci Designs. Micucci is how I sign all my work.I titled it , A Craft Room: A Dream Begins. It became a finalist in the HGTV Shaw floor Contest.
