It is a really different kind of paint and I really like the finish. I only have tried the one color.
It is costly but from what I can tell it is going to last a long time. It is easy to work with especially sanding.
I did however try it with my own wax and it still looks great!
I tried Paris Grey on this little table. Funny when you are not sure of things you look for something small to try it out on.
Painted and distressed it already looks better
This is a cute little table and the paint went on smooth and easy. It dried quickly which to me was a big plus. The down side would be that it says one coat but I can tell that somethings will take two.
I will use it again but I am not giving up on my regular latex paint. I am glad I have a new addition to the mix! Like changing things up!
There is still a GIVEAWAY going on through the weekend. I will be moving my daughter in to her dorm so the winner will be announced on Tues. Good Luck! Please be sure to enter!
I will try to post something but if you don't see me it is because we are moving college stuff!!!
I promise I will be back!

Your little table turned out great.
I tried the ASCP on a few pieces too and I'm still not feeling the love to switch completely over to it. The cost is really high and I think that cheaper waxes work just fine in comparison to the Annie Sloan.
I'm like you, I'm not ready to give up my latex paints.

I agree...nice paint, kinda. Nothing beats the tried and true of my Sherwin Williams paints.
Good luck with the college move!!! Such an important time for your kid!
I am starting back reading the blogs a little bit, while I am still trying to take some time off. Both my kids started new schools that are seriously different from the ones they were attending, so I really needed more time off from creating and doing.
I have found it interesting that there seems to be a little bit of a collective 'funk' out there with many bloggers. Must be the time of year, along with this darn Hurricane Irene!!!
Have a great time setting up at college.:)
Sweet little table Deneen. I've read a lot about the Annie Sloan paints and they seem to have gotten rave reviews - but the "process" seemed a little daunting to me (layering and letting it thicken up for certain finishes, etc.) Yikes - too much for this bird to handle!! Hope the transition to college goes smooth....dorm life doesn't bring back many fond memories for me - but things have sure changed in the regard....now it almost sounds like fun!! The ASCP is SUCH fun to use! I have three pieces going right now in various colors and combos! Your little table is so cute!!
Hi there! Nice job on your table. I am in the same boat as you - I really liked the ASCP. I heard a lot of "you'll never use anything again" type reviews, but, while I did really like it, I'll still use latex. I definitely like having another tool in the toolchest now though!
