I have told you before that the decorations are minimal this year. I have used a lot of things that won't need to be stored again. No sense in having more clutter.
This year I just used some antique molding and spindles with greenery cut from pine trees put in the yard. I had a problem. Since I wanted simple I didn't want to relocate my bee clock. Lets face it, It looked better for my Halloween Mantel If you just clicked that link you could see that not much has changed.
I added some of my wooden letters from my Etsy shop in a clever way to incorporate the clock. Remember, simple.
It always looks better on person to me. Maybe I just can't capture it right.
but I love it along side the tree.....
it adds to the charm.
This simple thing is really getting to be fun!
Did you finish your mantel yet? I am almost ready for my trip to New York. I will take pictures and share soon!

I LOVE that bee clock, and the mantle looks beautiful! Did you link it up at Creative Me (my linky party)? Come by and link up!
Love that mantel. Super ideas. The letters look great around the clock. Oh boy do I love that clock. It's awesome. Trying to figure out how we could make one. Your tree is so cute, love the stuff you have on it.
We don't have a mantel but a shutter shelf hubs made for me so it's decorated already. Did it right after Thanksgiving which seems like a long time ago already but it's only been little more than a week. I changed decos a couple times before I was happy but who knows, might have to change it, depends on what inspired me. Think I'm done with decorating tho.
No tree this year but I did make a
garland on a 50 white light string. Saw one made with white muslin but since I had some silver and copper lame fabric I'd had for years it would be pretty that way. I alternated the fabric strips between the lights as I went along the string. Think it turned out pretty and was a happy addition to a partial wall between our kitchen and living room. There's a small shelf on wall which we attached garland just under the shelf and I have some snowmen, etc. on top of shelf. It's bright and cheery and I'm happy with how it turned out, yay. Happy week
Thanks Jenny I did!
Srpprcrftr I bet that garland is awesome. I would love to see a picture!
