I love all the Easter grass crafts out there but I don't want to wait for grass to grow.
That has to be the ultimate waste of time......staring at those little seeds.....watering.......not me!
I think I found this little planter at Target or maybe the dollar store. I knew I wanted to grow grass in it. I just couldn't do it from seed. So I went shopping for wheat grass or some that has been grown for me! They want over $5 for a little bit and I would need two.....no way!
So I got my shovel, went in my backyard and dug up a patch of grass! Oh yes I did! I stuffed it in the planter and added my peeps! A $2 project! And no waiting!!!!
Instant gratification!
I thought this was a cute little planter for $1!
I added the peeps at different heights with toothpicks and a tall one on a twig.
The grass was perfect and the brown makes it look more realistic! (cause, well, it's real, duh!) You can even add Easter eggs to this or use the yellow peep chicks.
Cute.....Fun......Cheap......
A Hoppy Story!(I couldn't resist)

Sweet!!
I was literally laughing out loud visualizing you out there digging up your lawn. What a great idea though. No fuss, no waiting, no risk of failure. Love it!!
