I am very excited! Today The Feathered Nest is featuring my Ticket Sign. Dawn is just the sweetest person you will ever talk to on a blog! She is soooooo talented too! Go check out her shop and all the beautiful things she has created. I am honored that she thinks my sign is great!

Remember the Outdoor Chandelier? Well it was finally still enough to light the candles and enjoy the glow at night. I promised a picture so here it is!
I also have to thank A Diamond in the Stuff, Sassy Sites and Type A for featuring this all in one day!!! I think this make 13 features! I hope it doesn't stop there!

This is what I have been working on.......

This cabinet was pretty plain and beat up. The sides have a paneled look to it but its all solid wood. Since it was a steal at a sale, I took a chance on it.

Painted and distressed it blue.......

and Mod Podged the front of the doors....yes I said Mod Podged! Ever since I have learned about this stuff I have been addicted to it! I bought some lovely scrapbook paper and placed it on the front.

and found some awesome knobs at Hobby Lobby again for 50% off!

aren't they so different......jute knobs.......I just have to be careful since I think I am allergic to jute!

This was my mistake! As I was smoothing out the paper it ripped and made a mess. I had to strip it off and start again! Luckily I bought extra paper!!!

This is going to make a great storage cabinet in my craft room! I am so glad I took a chance and tried something different! Why are we so afraid to fail? We should always try something new! It helps us grow and challenges us to create!
